Weld Preparation at P.P. ProTube Ltd.

Our tube profiling machines are able to offer various weld preparations to suite the individual customer's specification. the cutting heads on our TPC 1000 cutting machines are able to rotate 360° and up to 67° in the angle. This means that the customer is able to specify different weld prepararations at the heel and toe zones. Request a P.P. ProTube Brochure.		For excellent work preparation, P.P. ProTube uses a 3D software package which was developed by its partner company, the HGG Group. With this system it is possible to prepare complex tube constructions automatically. This programme collects all the cutting data, sorts the tube together with the available material and optimises the positions into raw tube lengths. This in turn gives considerable material savings.
